The Oxford Dictionary defines “perversion” as 1: The alteration of something from its original course, meaning, or state to a distortion or corruption of what was first intended: all great evil is the perversion of a good a scandalous perversion of the law. 2: Sexual behavior or desire that is considered abnormal or unacceptable.
Donny Dog Poop Sorchych, publisher of the Sonoran News, and his pawn Steve LaMar are perverts in at least the most literal sense of the word. Photos of LaMar touching a visibly uncomfortable boy that circulated around town demonstrate that his proclivity for perversion may run deeper, but we will leave you to draw your own conclusions there.
The current play to recall the Cave Creek Council is a perversion of what the State Constitution intended. A recall is a mechanism for elected officials to be democratically removed from office before their terms have ended. In Arizona one must hold office for at least six months before they can be recalled. This buffer is meant to prevent the recall process from being a “do-over” election.
Recalls are reserved for extreme circumstances where officials have violated the public trust.
Old Yellowstain Sorchych (aptly dubbed “Old Yellowstain” by Vice Mayor Trenk), and his perverted protégé Steve LaMar began fomenting the recall before Trenk, Durkin, Monachino, and Spitzer were even sworn in. The recall has nothing to do with the current Council’s actions and everything to do with the fact that Sorchych lost his power over the Town when the new Council took office and gave Usama the boot.
The Truth is, Don Sorchych and his perverts like La Mar corrupted the democratic process in Cave Creek and are now corrupting the recall process to regain their hegemony. Don should be in jail for the harm he has caused Cave Creek and Steve La Mar can share his cell.
