Mayoral Leadership

A Sonoran Truth Editorial, September 28, 2013

Leadership has been described as “a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.” Leadership is doing the right things. Leaders possess social intelligence and vision to focus on theĀ  right things that merit attention.

Cave Creek needed mayoral leadership as soon as Sorchych started ranting about recall. Mayor Francia should have written an editorial in the “Town’s Official Newspaper” denigrating the recall movement. Instead, Sara Vannucci penned the words in her paper: http://www.desertfoothillschronicle.org/opinion.html

CALLING FOR A RECALL IS CALLING FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF CAVE CREEK

Every council member needs to be on record regarding recall. While questioning the status of Scottsdale may be fun, it’s no substitute for sending out a clear and unadulterated message to the editor of the Town’s official paper to back off, shut up and support the will of the people; support the Town, or stop being the Town’s official paper. Period.

Unfortunately, the consensus of opinion in our Town is that Francia is a bobblehead. The Buddhist Bookie will shift with the tide to assuage his ego, and since most Creekers are apathetic, it’s been easy for him to keep his title without doing the work.

Feel free to comment Vince. Better late than never.
