Ernie wants to reduce the size of the Planning Commission from 7 to 5 people because “fewer members on the commission will give staff time to work with the Commission to explain issues and discuss case [sic].” 11_17_14 TC minutes
As an elected Town Official, Ernie is supposed to uphold the law, but Ernie is a Con Artist. So he’ll exploit the confidence of the citizens of Cave Creek by proposing a plausible reason why he wants to reduce the size of the Planning Commission that is not true.
The Truth is that Ernie and the rest of Zombie Council / Sorchych Sociopaths want to get rid of Eileen Wright. Eileen Wright recently caught Ian Cordwell engaged in criminality. Definition of Criminality: noun blameworthy conduct, criminal attitude, criminal conduct, crookedness, culpable conduct, felonious conduct, fraudulence, guilt, heinous conduct, illegality, illicitness, infamous conduct, infamous misbehavior, malversation, misdoing, official misconduct, transgression, unlawfulness, wrongdoing
By law, the Planning Commission is to present any changes or modifications to the General Plan to the Town Council after the Planning Commission provides due process to the Citizens of Cave Creek in the form of a Notice and an opportunity to be heard. Ian did none of this. Ian violated the law. Ian should be terminated immediately for cause.
Instead, Ernie Bunch and Steve La Mar, another Con Artist of Cave Creek, want to remove Eileen Wright from the Planning Commission for No Cause effective immediately because Eileen uncovered the criminal conspiracy between Ian and the Council. Initially, the Town Council was terminating Eileen in executive session in violation of the Open Meeting Law, A.R.S. 38-431.03(A) (1).
This is not about differing political views. This is about criminal conduct concealed by doublespeak. Eileen Wright exposed the lawlessness surrounding the process of amending the General Plan and insisted on its correction. It is retaliation and revenge. It is about following the law, something Eileen took an oath to do when she was sworn in as Planning Commissioner. She takes this oath very seriously. So should Squealers Ernie and Steve. Ernie and Steve’s actions are grounds for impeachment, and a bar complaint against La Mar. The law regarding the amendment process for the General Plan was disregarded and the residents quality of life is now being threatened. The Planning Commission powers were completely usurped by the town staff (i.e. Ian Cordwell, Director of Planning) with detrimental consequences for the residents and the future of Cave Creek.The fundamental character of the town is at risk of major change. There are substantial unauthorized wording changes made to the General Plan by Cordwell which will destroy Cave Creek as we now know it.The Planning Commission is the official planning agency for the town and by law is charged with initiating, developing, and recommending revisions to the town council. This has not been done to date. ARS 9-461.05 A states “….planning agency shall prepare a long-range general plan. It is mandatory, not discretionary. This attack and disregard for the law is directed straight at Cave Creek residents.
Eileen had the courage and needs your support. Cave Creek residents will be standing tall – with their quality of life intact – on Monday night when they tell the council no, this is not acceptable. They will not allow the council to succeed in destroying their bedrock values and rural lifestyle.What Cave Creek is today would not exist if not for the courage and dedication of its residents. Any attempt to alter our Town’s General Plan in a criminal fashion shall be confronted aggressively with prejudice. Creekers demand accountability AND justice.
